FATAL FALL FROM ROAD
P.A. WESTPORT, May 12. Vincent Fercy Morel, aged 40, a married man with three children, died last night in hospital as a result of injuries and exposure following a fall from the road into a creek bed while proceeding to work with the Cascade Co-operative Mining Company at Burnett’s face on Monday night. He was found by workmates in the morning after having lain out most of the night, which was bitterly cold.
