“IMMIGRANTS DELUDED”
BRITISH VISITOR CRITICISES DOMINION SYDNEY, May 11. “British migrants to New Zealand are leaving nearly as fast as they arrive,” Mr A. R. Wilkins, managing director of a Bristol grocery firm, told reporters when he reached Sydney to-day from Wellington by the W-;-hine. “They are not being told the truth before they set out.
“A ship returning to Britain the other day carried five British families, and I have had letters from others showing that there is wide dissatisfaction. British migrants to New Zealand are fed up with the restrictions on private enterprise they find there."
