COOL WITH VARIABLE WINDS The Meteorological Office in Wellington has issued the following weather forecast for to-day:— Situation.—An anti-cyclone centred in. the Tasman Sea extends on to New Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Mode-rate variable winds. Weather fair, but cool. Further Outlook.—Mainly fair. Weather in Dunedin.—The weather yesterday was showery and cold, the temperatures ranging from 42.3 deg to 48.6 deg, and 0.20 in of rain being recorded. Total sunshine was just over two hours. The wind was from the south-west. The barometer reading at midnight was 30.21 in (1023 millibars).
