DEVALUATION OF POUND
BANK SPOKESMAN DENIES REPORTS N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent LONDON, Apl. 14. A Bank of England spokesman firmly denied Paris and Brussels reports that Britain will devalue the pound sterling after the signing at the Marshall Aid convention in Parig on Friday. “We have no intention whatever of devaluing the pound,” he said.
