OCCASIONAL DRIZZLE The Meteorological Office in Wellington has issued the following weather forecast for to-day:— Situation.—A complex low pressure system in the Tasman Sea is moving slowly eastward. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—North-easterly winds, fresh to strong on the coast, but moderate inland. Cloudy to overcast, with occasional fog or drizzle near the coast, but fair Inland. Temperatures moderate. Weather in Dunedin.—Heavy mist fell intermittently most of the day in Dunedin yesterday, the rainfall totalling 0.19 inches up until 7 o’clock last night. A fresh north-east breeze failed to make any appreciable effect on the low cloud, although the sun shone for 12 minutes towards mid-day. Temperatures were cool, the maximum being 53.5 degrees, the minimum 52 degrees, and the grass minimum 49.5 degrees, and at midnight the barometric pressure, which had been steady all day, was 30.15 inches (1021 millibars).
