Ministerial The Minister o£ Defence, Mr Jones, left for Wellington by air yesterday morning. Mr E. S. Wilson was reappointed as secretary of the Otago Rugby Football Union at the weekly meeting of the Management Committee last night. Mr Wilson was appointed to the position for the first time in 1904, and has held office since. Mr M. J. C. Templeton, of the External Affairs branch of the Prime Minister’s Department, left for Wellington by the express yesterday morning after a brief holiday visit to Dunedin. Cr J. G. Barnes and Mr J. J. Marlow have been appointed as city and suburban representatives on the Dunedin Ocean Beach Domain Board. Asking to be withheld from nomination to the board at the meeting of the City Council last evening the Mayor, Mr Cameron, stated that be could see the day cpming when the Ocean Beach Domain wohlcDbe the playground of the city- ' ' • [
