BRITISH SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEME LONDON. Mar. 11. The Government’s “rich and poor, cradle to grave ” social security scheme reached its final preparatory stage when official enrolment forms were issued to all working people in Britain regardless of rank, means, or age. The scheme is the Government’s application of the Beveridge Social Security Plan, which all parties in the wartime Coalition approved.
