JUNIOR BAND
Much enthusiasm is at present being shown by 20 pupils who are learning music with a view to becoming future members of the Oamaru Garrison Band. Mr T. Ovens, bandmaster of the Garrison Band, is training the pupils, and although the class commenced only a few weeks ago the pupils have mode sulhcient progress to enable them to receive instruments next week.
