FLORISTS CONFER

PRESIDENT RE-ELECTED

The annual conference of the New Zealand Florists’ Telegraph Delivery Exchange was officially opened- in the National Party’s rooms yestsrday morning by the Mayor, Mr Cameron, who welcomed the delegates to the city. Representatives from firms throughout New Zealand were present. The election of officers resulted in the reappointment as president of Mr J. Bateson, of Hamilton. Reports were given by a number of groups and by the chairman of directors of the clearing house. Mr G. Knowles. There will be a further business session this morning, and members will lay a wreath on the Cenotaph at 2 o’clock.
