DRAFT OF NEW ZEALANDERS N Z Public Relations Service Rec. 8 p.m. . CHOFU, Feb. 26 After completing their service with J-force in Japan, a draft of 49 officers, men and W.A.A.C.’s left the Second N.Z.E.F. area to-day to join the ship Westralia at Kure, en route for New Zealand, via Sydney. The ship is due to sail on Saturday. The New Zealanders are commanded by Major E. J. Horwood, who is accompanied by his wife, the officer commanding New Zealand W.A.A.C.’s in Japan. Also leaving for New Zealand are several British doctors who have served with the Second N.Z.E.F., and who plan to settle in the Dominion. Sixteen of the draft are medical’cases.
