WATERFRONT HOLIDAY
DECISION OF WELLINGTON UNIONS P.A. WELLINGTON, Feb. 24. No work will be done on the Wellington waterfront on Thursday. It will be observed as a holiday, although the transport workers’ picnic which was to have been held on that day, has been cancelled. A decision to this effect was reached at a meeting of the Wellington Central Committee of waterfront unions.
