EDUCATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF OTAGO. OPENING OF SESSION. ALL CLASSES WILL COMMENCE ON MONDAY, MARCH 1. All Students must Register at the Registrar’s Office before the end of the First Week of the Term. , _ New Students desiring to take Degree courses must, when enrolling, present at the Registrar’s Office proof of having passed the Entrance Examination. Students of the above Faculties (including students taking Arts or Science subjects as part of degrees in Law, Commerce, Engineering or Agricultural Science, but EXCLUDING all students in Medicine, Dentistry, Mining or Home Science, who will enrol at places and times as provided below) must attend at the University on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27, from 9.30 'a.m. to 12 noon, or from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., or on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, for purposes of Enrolment. A circular of instructions will be handed to each student at the Registrar’s Office. PRELIMINARY MEETING OF CLASSES. All students should attend the preliminary meeting of the classes which they propose to take. These are held on MONDAY, MARCH 1, in places and at times stated on the notice board. EXEMPTED STUDENTS. The Registrar will enrol First-year Dental Students in the History Lecture Room on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28, at 10 a.m. MINING STUDENTS. The Dean of the Mining Faculty will be in attendance at the Mining School on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27. and SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, to meet new students. LAW FACULTY. The Dean of the Faculty will meet Law Students in the Lecture Room, Supreme Court Buildings, on MONDAY, MARCH 1, at 7.30 p.m. Law Students, if taking Arts Subjects, should also enrol as provided for Arts Students above. COMMERCE FACULTY. The Dean of the Faculty and Lecturers will meet all Commerce Students in the Lower Oliver Classroom on MONDAY, MARCH 1, at 7 p.m, Commerce Students, if taking Arts Subjects, should also enrol as provided for Arts Students above. HOME SCIENCE FACULTY. First-year Home Science students will enrol in the Home Science School on MONDAY, MARCH 1, at 2 p.m. CLASSES IN MUSIC. Professor Galway Will be In attendance in Room G (underneath the Library) no MONDAY, MARCH 1, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., for the purpose of advising students. BIBLIOGRAPHY AND LIBRARIANSHIP. The preliminary meeting of these classes will be held in the Librarian’s Room on MONDAY, MARCH 1, at 5.30 p.m. INAUGURAL ADDRESS. The INAUGURAL ADDRESS, to be delivered by Dr W. P. Morrell, will be held in the CONCERT CHAMBER on MONDAY, MARCH 1, at 10 a.m. CHURCH SERVICE. The ANNUAL CHURCH SERVICE will be held in ST. PAUL’S CATHEDRAL on SUNDAY.
