DOG TRIALS Arrangements have been made this year for a two-day dog trial in March. SCHOOL BUS When the school reopens a bus will convey pupils, instead of the former system of parents arranging transport for them. STREET SEALING A portion of the main street is to be sealed. This will be welcomed, as in the past there has been much dust. Ninety chains of highway near Arthurton are also ready for sealing. TENNIS MATCH In a tennis match played on Saturday between Northern Districts (Southland) and West Otago, Northern Districts won by five games.
