VISITORS FOR CENTENNIAL EVENTS

The first of the numerous

competitors in centennial contests beginning this week-end reached Dunedin yesterday.

Right: A group-of the members of the Wellington Ladies’ Surf Club team which will compete in the New Zealand Surf Life Saving Championships, which will be held at the St. Clair Beach on Saturday and Sunday.

Below: The first band to arrive in Dunedin for the New Zealand Brass Band Association’s Championship Contest was met at the railway station by local bandsmen. It was the Motueka Municipal Band, which will compete in the C Grade section.
