RUSSELL ALGIE AT WEMBLEY WORLD TABLE TENNIS SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIPS LONDON, Feb. 9. Russell Algie, of Dunedin, New Zealand Open Singles table tennis champion, won his first round match against C. Juhl, of Denmark, 21—15, 21—8, 19—21, 21—6, in the World Table Tennis Championships at Wembley. Algie subsequently beat Y. Kabil, of Egypt, 21-19, 16-21, 21—15, 31—19, in the second round.
