FUEL OIL CUT
UNITED SPATES DECISION
LITTLE EFFECT ON DOMINION P.A. WELLINGTON, Feb. 10. The United States Government cut of 181 per cent, in exports of fuel oil and motor spirit announced in a recent New York cablegram is unlikely • have a great effect on New Zealand supplies, most of which conhe from the Persian . Gulf and the East Indies, it was stated in Wellington. There is an increasing tendency for New Zealand's petrol to come from Bahrein Island. Sumatra. Java, and Borneo, so that any cut in American exports would probably result in more tankers arriving from the present principal supply areas.
