Farmer,” Heriot.—Generally speaking wheat and oats treated and held over from one season to another can be safely sown, but seed wheat, particularly of high moisture content, is sometimes found to have the germination affected. It is not recommended that wheat treated with ceresan should be fed to fowls, unless mixed in a small proportion with grain that has not been so treated. "Anne Shirley,” St. Hilda.—’The following is a list of L. M. Montgomery’s “Anne ” books and the order in which they were written: —“Al?ne of Green Gables,” "Anne of Avonlea,” " Chronicles of Avonlea,” "Anne of the Island,” “Anne’s House of Dreams,” " Rainbow Valley,” " Rilla of Ingleside,” “Further Chronicles of Avonlea." D., Caversham.—The importation of Ihe Rudge motor cycle ceased in 1939. “ Book Post,” Outram.—A concession in the postage rate is made on books exchanged between libraries or book clubs not conducted for profit. The postage is at the rate of one halfpenny for each 4oz, up to a maximum weight of 51b. Each parcel must bear the inscription, ” Library Exchange.”
