Farmer,” Heriot.—Generally speaking wheat and oats treated and held over from one season to another can be safely sown, but seed wheat, particularly of high moisture content, is sometimes found to have the germination affected. It is not recommended that wheat treated with ceresan should be fed to fowls, unless mixed in a small proportion with grain that has not been so treated. The postage is at the rate of one halfpenny for each 4oz, up to a maximum weight of 51b. Each parcel must bear the inscription, ” Library Exchange.”
