The latest state of. parties in the Eire general election is:— • Fianna Fail 35 Fine Gael 13 Labour 8 New Republican 6 Independent 5 Farmers 3 The Minister of Local Government, Mr Sean McEntee, the Finance Minister, Mr F. Aiken, the Minister of Justice, Mr G. Boland, and Mr de Valera’s son, Major V. de Valera, are among the elected. Mr Sean MacBride, the Leader of the Republican Party, won the South-west Dublin seat. Mr de Valera won easily in his own constituency in Clare.
