APPOINTMENT OF JUDGES

At a meeting of the Sports and Games Committee of the Caledonian Society of Otago held on Saturday, Mr Keith Cameron, a former New Zealand champion dancer, was appointed judge of the national dancing competitions to be held at 'the society’s centennial sports on March 19 and 20, and Mr Jack Mclntyre was appointed judge of piping. Mr A. Wheeler was in the chair. A letter was received from the Otago Marching. and Recreation Association thanking the society for the presentation of two additional trophies for the A and B Grade Women's Marching Competitions. It was agreed to meet representatives of the Marching Association and the Piping and Dancing Association at the ground to play the layout of the various events.
