N.G. Bro. B. Allen was in the chair at the fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Oamaru Lodge on Thursday night. It was decided to abandon the annual picnic this year because of the infantile paralysis epidemic. It.was reported that Manchester Unity Lodges in North Otago had a successful year in connection with the 1000 membership campaign. The Loyal Oamaru Lodge initiated 30 new members, the Juvenile Lodge 21 and the Loyal Star of the North 31, making a total of 5G for the year.
