Cncket Field moved up across the bend ana followed Bright News and All’s Fair into the straight, with Speedy fourth. In a close finish Speedy just beat Cricket Field, with Bright News almost in iine, and Royal Sal fourth. Then came Faustina', Aberdare and Resolute. . Waikanra Trot When the field settled down Achievement was showing the way to Doris Grattan, and then the order was Night Bomber, Trueleen, Abbeydorney, Loyal Guest and Moongold. Loyal Guest moved up to second across the top, and was followed by Abbeydornie, Trueleen, Uranium and Moongold.
