P.A. WANGANUI, Jan. 2. The Auckland Colts’ cricket team today defeated Wanganui by eight wickets, the home side averting an innings defeat by compiling a healthy second innings score. Wanganui made 89 in the first innings in reply to the Colts, 205, and 'had to follow on. In the second innings, Wanganui compiled 149 and at the close of play, the Colts had 43 on the board for the loss of two wickets. \ X
