RETURN OF LOOTED GOLD
THE HAGUE, Rec. 11.30 p.m. Nov. 22. Dutch banks’ guards, armed with Sten guns, took delivery of gold bars and coins worth £8,250,0000 from the United States Army authorities at the frontier of Holland and the ; United States zone. The Germans looted the gold from the banks and private citizens between 1940 and 1945.
