AIR CHIEF SUCCESSFUL WAIRIO CLUB’S MEETING P.A. INVERCARGILL, Nov. 23. There was a large attendance at the Wairio Jockey Club’s annual meeting, which was held in fine and sunny weather at Wairio. The track was fast, Wild Cry establishing a track record of .lmin 27 2-ssec in the Wairaki Handicap'. The totalisator handled £10,599, against £9887 last year. Results: — Forde Hurdles, of £l2O.
