Mr S. Pitt, who is in charge of the Government aid to Britain mobile exhibit, which is touring the South Island and appearing at the various A. and P. shows, arrived in Dunedin yesterday. The exhibit will be displayed at the Otago Society’s Summer Show this week. Mr J. H. D. Miller returned to Dunedin on Saturday from Wellington, where he attended the annual conference of the National Council of the Y.M.C.A. Mr J. Jones, of Palmerston, has been appointed postmaster at Pukekohe. Dr T. F. Miller, youngest son of the Rev. T. Miller, of Caversham, has qualified for the degree of F.R.C.S., London.
