Photographs by Beam Wireless

The publication in this issue of beam-radio pictures of the royal wedding—the first official photographs to be beamed directly to New Zealand—is the result of cooperation between the morning and evening newspapers of the Dominion, working in conjunction with the Post and Telegraph Department and Cable and Wireless, Ltd. The photographs received on the recently installed equipment at Wellington were pooled in order that the various newspapers would have equal opportunities of printing pictures of the event at the earliest possible moment.
