THROWN FROM HORSE
IMMIGRANT KILLED P.A. AUCKLAND, Oct. 31. Recently arrived from England to learn farming in order to take up land, Daniel Yarline Mills, aged 32, single, was killed yesterday. The guest of John Kempthorne, also a recent arrival from England, who has purchased a farm at Manawaora, near Russell, Mills and his host set out on horseback from the house paddock. Mills’s horse reared and he was thrown heavily to the ground. He died almost immediately.
