TROTTING AT INVERCARGILL Special to the Daily Times INVERCARGILL, Oct. 30. The prospects are lor fine weather for the Invercargill Trotting Club’s spring meeting on Saturday. The track will be in firm order, but on the dead side. Big fields are listed, and divisions will be required in three events. The Novice Handicap will be run in three divisions, and there is little chance of any of these divided races being run as straight-out contests. Betting' will be on the win-and-place system, and form horses include:— 11.0: Novice Handicap.—First division— Peccadillo, Double Scotch: second division—Keymaster, Patricia Hall; third division—Little Chief, Karen Hall. 11.50: Monowai Handicap—First division—Olympus, Glamour Girl; second division—White Damp, Ingle Star. • 12.40: Crescent Handicap.—First division—Melvian, Hall Stand, Senate; second division—Ladylike, Trustee, Blue Match 1.30: Southland Handicap.—Novelda, Expensive, Maida Dillon. 2.10: Takitimu Handicap.—New Venture, Hall Ace, Karen Hall. 2.50: Thomson Handicap.—Daisy Gold, Melvain, Locksley Hall. 3.30: Travis Memorial Handicap.—lngle Star-Olympus bracket, White Damp, Pat Review.
