CITY MILK SUPPLY

Sir,—Several articles contributed by Milk Board officers in the past and the article printed in the Daily Times this day under the heading of “ Milk Supply ’ are very weak attempts to bolster up a very weak case, and the closing paragraph is the weakest part of to-day’s article. The public want first-class milk now, not ultimately, and they have paid for the best for five weeks, and should receive it; this monopoly forced itself on to us and is quite unable to deliver Ihe goods, and no amount of bluff will blind or soothe the public. The Metropolitan Milk Board and all it stands for should remove itself and let us return to pre-war davs when we could choose our own milk man and the .milk man choose his customers, then we would get milk again.—l am, etc.. Northerner. October 8
