JEWELS WORTH A FORTUNE Rec. 8.30 p.m. NEW YORK, Oct. 4. A gunman entered the penthouse apartment of Mrs Sari Hilton early today and escaped with jewels valued at 750,000 dollars. Mrs Hilton is the former wife of Conrad Hilton, an hotel magnate. Mrs Hilton told the police that the gunman, after stunning her maid with his fist, threatened to shoot her and her baby if she did not reveal the whereabouts of the jewels. The gunman bound Mrs Hilton and her maid to a chair before escaping. Most of the jewellery is understood to be insured.
