The Wallabies defeated the Combined Services 19—8 after leading 11—5 at half time. In the first half T. Allen scored a try and converted a try, C. Eastes scored, and R. McMaster kicked a penalty. In the second half McMaster kicked a second penalty goal. E. Davis scored, and McMaster converted. McLean suffered a broken left ankle in strong loose play when he tackled a Combined Services player. Another Combined Services player accidentally ran into McLean as he was falling.
