VISIT TO DUNEDIN
CONSULTATION ON PAINT TESTING Sir Reginald Stradling will arrive in Dunedin next Tuesday on a brief visit arranged by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Researph While in New Zealand, he will consult with Government departments and builders about problems connected with the planning, erection, and maintenace of buildings. On Wednesday evening he will address members of the Otago branches of the Royal Society, the New Zealand Institution of Engineers, and the New Zealand Institute of Architects on housing research and development in the United Kingdom. • Specific problems to be discussed with Sir Reginald while he is in Dunedin include paint testing, which has caused some difficulties owing to the special weather conditions in Central Otago.
