POLITICAL PRISONER RELEASED
Rec. 8 p.m. BUDAPEST. Sept. 4. The police freed M. Istvan Szolmoky, leader of the moderate wing Smallholder Party, who was arrested yesterday. The Hungarian News Agency reported that the Department for State Security arrested a woman election official and three members of M. Zoltan Pfeiffer’s Opposition Independent Party on a charge of distributing Fascist leaflets.
