BRIGHTER OUTLOOK

BARBED WIRE SUPPLIES P.A. WELLINGTON, Sept. 4. “The outlook regarding the supply of wire netting is much brighter,” said the Minister of Supply, Mr Nordmeyer, to-day. He added that orders for 51,500 rolls of wire netting had been accepted by the United Kingdom and 13,000 rolls by the United States. These shipments were expected to arrive before the end of this year, and practically all the wire was 36inch. The Minister said the orders totalled 64,500, against the estimated annual demand of 70.000 rolls.
