SHIPPING DELAYED
HEAVY GALE OFF AUSTRALIAN COAST Rec. 8 p.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 4. A heavy gale which is just blowing out caused extensive damage at Newcastle and delayed shipping along the New South Wales coast. It levelled 11 of 13 marquees erected to house part of the Newcastle industrial fair. The Union Company’s steamer Hartlepool, from New Zealand.' has been delayed two days by the heavy seas and is now due at Sydney to-mor-row night.
