STERLING REFUSED
RUSSIAN ORGANISATION AT LEIPZIG FAIR LONDON, Sept. 3. The Russian Intourist Organisation refuses to accept the pound sterling at restaurants and other installations it operates at the Leipzig trade fair, which opened yesterday, reports the Associated Press. The Intourist manager said; ‘ England is in the midst of an economic crisis and we do not trust the pound." In tourist is accepting only the American dollar, the Swedish krona, and the Swiss franc.
