LAWN TENNIS
Mr A. R. Tait was in the chair at a meeting of the North Otago Lawn Tennis Association recently. Considerable discussion took place on the existing system of levies, and a recommendation to the annual meeting that one shilling per member per day be charged for every team playing competition games on the grass courts, and that the grass court subscription be raised to £l, was carried unanimously. Mr N. A. Davidson reported on the meeting of the North Otago Sports Bodies’ Association, and it was decided to invite delegates of the association to the annual meeting to explain the functions of the association.
