"OBSCURE GOVERNMENT POLICY ” An indication that the Otago Aero Club would do anything in its power to assist in the establishment of an airfield at Roxburgh was given by the secretary, Mr H. H. Parata, yesterday. “A major object of the club is to assist the development of aviation anywhere in the province,” he said. “If sufficient enthusiasm were shown, the club would certainly lend its support to the development of a Roxburgh airfield.” He pointed out that, at the present time, the club’s activities and planning' were necessarily limited because of the obscure Government policy towards private and club flying.
