Dairy Company's Turnover Up By Two Million
P.A. HAMILTON, Aug, 20. At the annual meeting of shareholders in the New Zealand Dairy Company to-day it was disclosed that the gross turnover of the company during the past season amounted to £12,246,312, an increase on the previous year of £1,991,114. . . The chairman of directors, Mr W. Marshall, said that not only had production increased by 18 per cent., but that, in spite of all difficulties, a notable improvement in the quality of the butter-fat had also resulted.
