MORNINGTON GROCERY SHOPS

Si r With reference to the statement made by the Self Help manager in connection' with Mornington groceries, I should like to make a correction. The merchants ” may have had supplies, but not all grocers. The only tinned fruit I have had was 1 1-3 dozen at Christmas, and as that amount was highly inadequate I purchased retail £lO worth of goods in order to supplement supplies oy one dozen. There is something very much wrong when some stores can sell short lines t« every order regardless of registrations, while others cannot meet even minimum requirement. Perhaps the R.S.A. could find out what the reason is. for so far I and others cannot.—l am. etc., August 19. G T. Reilly.
