REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES ARRANGED Mr E. H. Coker was in he chair at a meeting of the North Otago Men’s Hockey Sub-association on Monday' night, and there were also present Messrs R. Brown, I. Sherwjn, L. Hedges, L. Blair. P. Connors, C. Rawstorn, N. Pinder -and A, S. Dowdle. , The South Canterbury Association s invitation to play A and B senior and junior boys’ representative matches at Timaru on' August 30 was accepted. Mr L. Hedges was appointed manager of the senior teams and Mr R. Brown manager of the junior team. The following umpires were recommended;—Mr J. Harris (senior A), Mr K. Austin (senior B), Mr M. Stringer (junior boys). It was decided to write to Hie Southland Association asking if September 6 would be suitable for a representative game at Invercargill. Because of the North Otago-South Canterbury game at. Timaru on August 30, -it was decided to yvrite to the Canterbury Association asking if it was making' out a new itinerary for Its tour. It was decided to hold association meetings fortnightly as from August 25. Representative Teams
