Clptha River Dredge.—For the week ended August 15 the Clutha River dredge, operating at Alexandra, worked 124 hours and recovered 112. ounces. The board has declared an interim dividend of 4 per cent., less income tax at 9s in the £, payable in London on September 30 to all shareholders on the register on September 8. Arahura and Kanieri.—The dredge returns for the first half of August were: Arahura—2s2 hours, 128,000 yards, 6990 z; Kanieri—24s hours, 143,000 yards, 208 oz. Electrolytic Zinc.—The production statement for the four weeks ended July 23 is as follows: —Risdon works: Zinc, 5332 tons. West Coast mines: Ore treated, 9439 tons; lead concentrates produced, 562 tons; zinc concentrates produced. 2742 tons; copper concentrates produced, 289 tons. The output was reduced to conform with the curtailed supplies of zinc concentrates and calcirte from the mainland, arising from shipping difficulties. Associated Gold Dredges.—The return for the week ended August 16 was 102 oz from 65,741 yards in 2481 dredging hours. Dredging at the Red Jacks area is now completed, and this dredge has ceased operations
