GRANT OF COUNTRY PARK

LONDON, Aug. 14. His Majesty has granted Sunning T hill Park to Princess Elizabeth as a “grace and favour” residence. Reuter's Court correspondent says the grant of Sunninghill Park to Princess Elizabeth means that the mansion in Sunninghill Park estate will be Pricess Elizabeth’s and Lieutenant Mountbatten’s country home after their marriage. No decision has yet been reached about a London home for the Royal couple. “ Grace ana favour ” residences are those in his Majesty’s possession which he bestows at his own discretion. Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten and Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands left by plane, to join the Royal Family at Balmoral.
