DECISIVE BATTLE RAGING
BUENOS AIRES, Rec. 10 p.m. Aug. 13. Rebel sources in Argentina reported to-day that insurgents and Government troop's were fighting a decisive battle in Asuncion’s northern sector, which embraces foreign embassies and the botanical gardens. The rebels are bolstering the northern attack with a major assault on the south-eastern workers’ district and a water-borne foray in the southern sector. The Argentine authorities prohibited some of the 18,000 refugees in Clorinda, across the Paraguay River from Asuncion, from returning to Paraguayan territory to help the rebels to capture Asuncion.
