Power Consumption. On Wednesday; 69,876 units of the allowable consumption of 73,950 units of electricity were used. The accrued credit consumption for the three days this week amounts to 10,998 units. Because of the satisfactory saving so far this week, the board has decided to remove all restrictions on the use of radiators, and when the final figures for the week are available water-heating hours may be reviewed next Monday. Amateur Athletics.—The annual wind-up social and presentation of trophies of the North Otago Amateur Athletic Association will be held in the Peter Pan next Wednesday, commencing at 8 o’clock.
