MILTON SALE

KEEN DEMAND At the Milton sale yesterday an entry of approximately 1000 sheep was submitted to auction. Hoggets made up the bulk of the offering. There was a large attendance, and a keen demand throughout for all classes. Good average ewe hoggets made from 36s to 38s 3d; medium, 32s to 34s 3d; small, 27s 9d to 30s. Best wethei hoggets made to 325; medium, 28s to 29s 6d; small, 245. Three pens of sound-mouthed ewes sold at 345, 325, and 31s respectively. A pen of forward store wethers realised 345. Fifteen horses were included in the entry, there being a good demand for all types. A four-year-old draught mare made £23. and aged draughts made from £lO to £l3
