SCIENTIFIC STUDY OVERSEAS

Mr P. A. Ongley, 8.A., M.Sc., who has been working for the Medical Research Council at the Otago Medical School, will leave tomorrow on the first stages of his journey to Glasgow, where he will be engaged for three years in further study in chemistry. He will specialise in plant chemistry.

Mr J. N. Dodd, assistant lecturer in Physics at' the ' University ol Otago, who has been awarded an 1851 Exhibition Scholarship which will enable him to study physics al Birmingham for the next two years, He will leave by the Waiwera for England. Mr Dodd was president ol the Otago Students’ Association last year.
