Dunedin's Mayor Congratulates Victorious Team
The keen interest of Dunedin people in the Ranfurly Shield match at Invercargill on Saturday, and the enthusiasm with which the Otago victory was greeted, was typified by the action of the Mayor, Mr Cameron. Shortly after the end of the game he telephoned the Otago team to extend the congratulations of the city, as well as his own personal good wishes.
