NORWEGIAN AUTHORESS WINS NOBEL PRIZE
Rec. 8 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 2. Stockholm radio announced that the 1947 Nobel Prize for literature had been unanimously awarded Maria Brekker, a 28-year-old Norwegian authoress, for her book, “ Mother Mary,” an intimate story of the everyday life of the Holy Family.
