P.A. • CHRISTCHURCH. Aug. 2. Canterbury retained the Hockey Challenge Shield by beating Wellington by 3 goals to 0 in a bright and open game at Hagley Park yesterday. The winning team gave an improved display compared with the showing against Otago a fortnight ago and was always more dangerous on attack. Canterbury scored two goals from penalty corners.
